This policy explains what data FreightLinkFlow processes, why, how it is protected and what your rights are.

1. Data we process

Account data: email address, encrypted password, selected role (carrier, broker, shipper), creation date.

Business profile data: company name, contact details, MC / DOT numbers and any activity information you choose to provide.

Listing data: origin, destination, dates, equipment, weight, freight type, offered rate and the contact details attached to your postings, as well as your applications and bookings.

Technical data needed to run the service: sign-in logs, IP address, device and browser type, language preference.

2. How we use it

To provide the service: create and secure your account, display listings, enable search, applications and connections between users.

To manage subscriptions and billing through our payment provider.

To ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

To improve platform reliability and performance.

3. Information visible to other users

Information published in a listing or in your business profile (company, contact, MC / DOT) is intended to enable connections and may be visible to other relevant users. Do not publish personal information you do not wish to share.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by technical providers strictly necessary to operate the service: hosting and database, authentication, payment processing.

Data may be disclosed where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Security

Access is protected by authentication, encrypted communications, hashed passwords and database-level access rules that restrict each user to their own data. As no system is infallible, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while the account remains active. Listings and activity history are kept as long as needed for the service and for applicable legal and accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and portability. Much of your information can be edited directly from your account.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep your session signed in and to remember preferences such as language. These are necessary for the service to work properly.
